Commercial disclosure

Useful first. Revenue clearly labeled.

Wisconsin.how is designed to support a sustainable independent guide without selling editorial judgment or disguising advertising as local advice.

01

Current status

Wisconsin.how currently contains no paid rankings, sponsored listings or affiliate booking links. Editorial routes and official sources are selected for usefulness, not compensation.

02

Affiliate links

If an eligible lodging, experience, ticket, transportation, gear or service link later earns a commission, that relationship will be identified close to the recommendation. The price should not increase because of the referral.

03

Sponsored opportunities

A paid placement must be visibly labeled as sponsored, kept separate from editorial rankings and evaluated for relevance to Wisconsin visitors or residents. Payment cannot purchase a factual claim or correction.

04

Resident services

Moving, home, insurance, professional and business-service referrals may become commercial categories. Consequential guidance will continue to explain decision criteria and point to official sources before any provider choice.

05

How partners are assessed

Fit, transparency, geographic coverage, visitor or resident usefulness and the ability to verify terms matter more than payout. Availability, price and quality must still be checked directly with the provider.

06

Questions and inquiries

Commercial questions can be sent to hello@wisconsin.how. Editorial corrections follow the corrections process whether or not a business has a commercial relationship with the site.
